We will start with some simple patterns and work towards the more complex, such as herringbones, arrow bandings and the distinctive lunette bandings employed by John & Thomas Seymour at the dawn of the nineteenth century. This unique class will allow you to appreciate some of the ingenious ways in which this decoration can be fabricated which will allow you to add another design dimension to your work, be it traditional or contemporary.
