Boxes are fun to make and offer a variety of design possibilities in a small package. A mitered box is a fast and simple way to get started in box making. In this hands-on class with Fine Woodworking Magazine art director, Mike Pekovich, you'll learn how to get accurate mitered corners on the tablesaw and how to get a perfect grain match from face to face. You'll also learn the trick to stress-free glue-ups and how corner keys can add strength and beauty. The class will cover 2 ways to add a lid to a box and how to outfit the interior with dividers for a variety of uses. Each student will come away with a pair of boxes and all the skills necessary to make many more.
