Summer - Fall 2023 Class Schedule available. Contemporary Inlay and Decorative Borders with Steve Latta
Although inlay is most often associated with the Federal period, new techniques, new materials and new designs offer a myriad of applications for contemporary furniture projects. In this new weekend class, using a combination of modern and traditional tooling and materials, participants will learn double-line and two-tone compass inlay and design work. Additionally, participants will work with a variety of full and partial patterns to inlay apples, birds, bottles and whatever else they creative eye might deem appropriate. Join American inlay expert Steve Latta as we step out of the traditional inlay mode and begin to get really creative with incorporating your own ideas on inlay into your work.
